Veterinary Assistant

Department: Veterinary Assistant
Location: Weatherford, TX

Foland Veterinary Services is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our nursing team plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and in delivering thorough client education.

In this role, you will assist during exams and outpatient care while coordinating with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep appointments and procedures on schedule.

This is a Full-Time position, with flexible scheduling options, availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

  • Compensation: $15-$16 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset:

  • Demonstrates curiosity and a strong desire for continued learning and growth
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Values cleanliness, structure, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively
  • Open to growth and taking on additional responsibilities as they arise
  • Prior veterinary experience preferred (2–3 years minimum)
