Cohutta Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team!
This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Assistants who are excited to utilize their technical skills to their fullest potential in both surgery and outpatient care, while also having the opportunity to learn, grow, and expand their skill set in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will:
This position is ideal for Veterinary Assistants who enjoy hands-on patient care, client interaction, and being a valued member of a collaborative veterinary team, and who are motivated to continue growing their technical abilities.
This is a flexible, full-time position, typically working 4 days per week, Monday–Friday. No weekends!

Cohutta Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital proudly serving the Blue Ridge community. We are a 6-doctor practice with a collaborative, team-focused culture where Veterinary Assistants play a critical role in daily patient care and the client experience.
Our hospital is equipped with modern technology, including Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental Radiographs, Laser Therapy, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory, allowing our team to deliver efficient, thorough, and advanced veterinary care.
This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant who wants to work at the top of their skill set, continue learning, and grow within a supportive, fast-paced veterinary team — without weekend shifts.
